Kayla May Named Indy’s Best & Brightest Honoree

CARMEL, Ind. – Blue & Co., LLC is delighted to share that Kayla May, CPA, has been selected as a 2023 Indy’s Best & Brightest Honoree by the Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. The event honors 100 of central Indiana’s most outstanding young professionals in 10 different industries.

“Junior Achievement of Central Indiana is such a special organization and to be nominated as a Best and Brightest Finalist is nothing short of an honor,” said Kayla. “I am lucky to work with such great people at Blue and get to do things I am passionate about every day! A special shout out to my coach Austin Fisher and to my directors – Landon Hackett, Mike Alessandrini, Kyle Smith, and Angie Zirkelbach – who make it possible for me to pursue my passions and made this award possible. I’d also like to thank my husband and family who are my biggest cheerleaders and supporters.”

May is a manager on the reimbursement team at Blue & Co., LLC in the Indianapolis, Ind. office. She began her professional career at Blue five years ago.

“We are so proud of Kayla for being recognized by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana,” said Brad Shaw, managing partner. “Her dedication to her clients and the community is an outstanding representation of how she is living our company values of being responsive, caring, advocates.”

An awards program and reception will be hosted at the Hilbert Circle Theatre in downtown Indianapolis to recognize these outstanding professionals on Thursday, March 23, 2023. All 100 finalists will receive an award and the winners in each category will be announced.

The Best and Brightest event was created by Junior Achievement to recognize up and coming talent and the next generation of leaders in our community. Finalists in each category are judged on professional accomplishments, civic contributions, character, and leadership qualities.
